My name is Jordan Middlebrook, the self-professed King Gluten Free. I was Diagnosed with Celiac in June 2008 I have been 100% gluten-free since then. Which itself has had it’s ups and downs. Not just food wise, but health wise and well, if you’re reading this, you’ve got Celiac and know what I mean.
There was a time when blogging was just a gimmick, something that people used to get more attention. I’m talking about when livejournal.com was big, in full swing. I was guilty of having an online journal with that website. Now as I have been diagnosed with Celiac I see this blog more as a way for me to just tell everyone my own issues and struggles with the disease. I even throw in my parenting column which I started doing at another site in October 2012. It’s not about telling people what to do with parenting and being 100% gluten-free, it’s just me sharing my events with you and maybe you can relate them to your own life.
While we may all be different, we can be connected through events, and maybe mine will help you deal with your issues or just give you a laugh.
I’m a father of one; a cute little girl and married to one; to a beautiful wife.
I’m a short film writer for Project: Awesome creating great serials like the Awesome Canadian Action Duo, or mega awesome short films like Today I Hunt, all are goals I’ve wanted to accomplish since I was young. And this website kingglutenfree.com is just another chapter in achieving my goals and realizing dreams.
